 Agronomy Sales Person—Full Time-Rose Creek, MN
The Agronomy Sales Person is responsible for developing relationships with farmers in areas surrounding Rose Creek, MN. This person represents a full line of agronomy products such as Winfield, Corteva, Bayer, Terra, Valent and Syngenta.
Make 5 to 7 farm calls per day
Maintain producer files, technical files, sales tools and other such products pertinent to the job
Serving as the first point of contact between the customer and Northern Country Coop
Submit weekly progress reports
Prepare accurate invoices for the customer
Follow Northern Country Coop’s work schedules
Strive to be knowledgeable of current farming practices and conditions effecting the customer
Strive to become a certified crop advisor as well as maintaining the required continuing education credits
Develop trusting relationships with customers
Generate a high level of sales using professional sales techniques
Develop and follow defined sales strategies
Become an expert in products and services offered
Maintain a professional image of Northern Country Coop
Be dedicated to the continual improvement of the customers net farm income
Actively prospect new customers and follow up on previous farm calls
Feed Mill Truck Driver—Full Time-Adams, MN
The Feed Truck Driver delivers bulk and bagged feed and provides related customer services in a safe and effective manner.  Must have an acceptable driving record, a Class A CDL, and pass all drug and alcohol tests.
     Deliver bulk feed to customers’ specifications
     Fulfill all reporting and recordkeeping requirements as required
     Always ensure a quality product before unloading
     Learn and understand the customer’s livestock operation well enough to avoid errors when making deliveries
     Follow established flushing and sequencing procedures to avoid cross-contamination of products
     Routinely check truck compartments for feed hang ups between loads
     Perform maintenance of equipment
     Ensure no spread of livestock disease
     Maintain a safe working environment and operate equipment as outlined by Northern Country Coop’s Personnel Management Policies Handbook
     Follow standards of quality as outlined by the HACCP Program, cGMP’s and other manufacturing and regulatory controls
     Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Feed Mill Operator—Full Time-Adams, MN
The Feed Mill Operator accurately prepares bulk feed to customer specifications.
Report for work when scheduled
Know and follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform work in a safe manner
Provide accurate custom feed grinding and mixing services according to the customer’s ration specifications
Load feed trucks to keep operations running smoothly. Assist with unloading bulk and bagged ingredients
Notify supervisor of feed mix ingredient stock needs
Assist in planning daily feed deliveries as to maintain maximum efficiency in delivering as well as mill operations
Maintain proper preventative maintenance on mill equipment to assure minimal breakdowns. Report upcoming repairs to supervisor so they can be serviced as needed
Practice good housekeeping procedures to comply with company and OSHA policies
Work in an effective and efficient manner
Assist with grain operations
Ensure facility is well maintained
Make recommendations for improvements in the facility or to equipment
Follow up to ensure that work has been completed as approved
Attend safety related job trainings as they become available
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Custom Applicator—Full Time-Rose Creek, MN and Toeterville, IA
The custom applicator is responsible for properly applying agronomy products, driving truck and/or semi and helping in the grain and/or agronomy areas at each location as needed. Must have a Commercial Chemical Applicators License (1A,1B,1C) and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with proper endorsements and commercial insurability at all times; to include a valid DOT physical.
Perform daily maintenance checks on all running equipment and trucks
Make minor improvements on equipment and facilities, as needed
Maintain equipment to insure safe and accurate application. Perform or ensure routine maintenance is performed on equipment, facilities and grounds.
Read and understand label information from manufacturers and distributors of pesticides, fertilizers, and other products containing hazardous chemicals.
Apply products in a timely, effective and accurate manner
Follow guidelines for recording information on weather conditions, product used, field conditions and rates
Prepare, organize, and maintain records to document activities
Drive application equipment such as floaters, row machines, tenders, etc. As well as grain, fertilizer, chemical and supply trucks as needed
PC, I-Pad and related computers and their associated software
Assist with other locations, as needed
Tender Truck Drivers—Seasonal-Alden and Rose Creek, MN; Stacyville and Toeterville, IA
Candidates must have a good driving record, willing to work overtime and weekend hours, be a team player who is detail oriented, and be dependable.  You will be responsible for delivering product accurately, safely and efficiently to custom applicators in the fields.
